Programme Description:
Although it may seem that the web is everywhere and
affects every part of our lives, the internet as we know
it is incredibly “new.” Immense opportunity exists for
huge numbers of designers to take the masses of
companies and individuals into Web 2.0 to truly
expose and monetize their products.
Web and graphic developers are the cowboys of this
new wild west as prospects and stories of the next
internet millionaire become known. Candidates will
begin with the base knowledge when they command
HTML and XML code.
From there their skills are broadly matured to ensure
that there is not a single site that they won’t be able to
develop. Add rich media functionality such as animation
and cool graphics and you have winning sites that
equate to money and revenue.
Candidates will also have breadth of skills to be able
to repurpose their knowledge for print and design.
